Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance seeks to change lives through the power of nature. We create, develop and implement programs that promote environmental responsibility and conservationism, help to build economically and socially sustainable and healthy communities, and strengthen the Conservatory's designation as an arts and cultural institution.

Special Family Events

The Conservatory is a fantastic place to bring family members of all ages offering a variety of special programs for kids and families including hands-on activities, storytelling, performances, craft workshops, and more.

Special Exhibitions

The Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance and the Chicago Park District partner to bring large exhibits such as Chihuly, Giants and Niki in the Garden.

School Field Trips

Thousands of students visit the Garfield Park Conservatory on field trips each year, mostly for free, because of the generosity of donors to the Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance.

Children's Gardens

Thanks to generous donors, the Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance was able to open a newly constructed Play & Grow Garden in 2014, geared towards children ages 0 to 8.

Beekeeping

Multiple bee hives are located on the Conservatory campus and are the cornerstone for an active beekeeping program that present beekeeping demonstrations, forums, and workshops.
